JOE BAR ONE was present on the starting grid of MOTOGP of France during the mechanical show on saturday evening. For this presentation, only 7 motorbikes took place on the departure grid.
For technical reasons the set of 20 motorbikes of the JB1 couldn’t participate to this demonstration.

Exceptional event for the pilots as well as for fanatics, who discovered some one of the exceptional " pumps on fire" of the JB1.

In spite of a small mishap because of the 4 characters of Joe Bar team who invited each other on the starting grid, according to a well prepared scenario, the departure was given by 85 000 present spectators in Le Mans.

Meeting on the circuit Carole, on June 27th and 28th to fill up strong sentations with a set of Joe Bar One complete.

 

 

 

 

Brice called « On/Off » on his 2 times commited, a 500cc V4 abudantly prepared.He came with a charming umbrella girl.

 

 

Yann Cancade « Le Belge » renagade of the Superbike and first winner of Joe Bar One to Ledenon on his 1000cc Atmo more than 200cv prepared by Frank Noury.

 

 

New comer, « the tearer of asphalt » on his Raspo 1200 in the colors of Rahan (the comic strip). Left customized cycle around the powerful block of origin Kawasaki.

 

 

« Vince l’Arsouille » (Olivier Lamy) on a 1000cc atmo who finished second to Ledenon with more than 2000cv in the back wheel.

 

 

Jeffrey Klenovis, on his bolide turbopcompressed, remains very concentrated in spite of the appearance on the departure grid of one of the characteres of the Joe Bar Team in the circumstances Jean Manchzeck on his Norton 850 Commando’s 1972, 200cv of difference between the 2 motorbikes !

 

Also on the departure grid, the pump of fire of » Turbinator » with his monstrous turbo allowing to develop near 300cv in the back wheel, pure creation Thornbike. Pirelli tires still remember !!

Session of holeshot before the stake in grid, the bolides more than of 200cv require to make a small repetition to avoid an incident at the time of « Real » start.


Christian Debarre alias Bar2, creator of the famous comic strip Joe Bar Team discovers these caracteres in flesh and in bone. Motorbikes belong to Patrice Blin, a fascinated collector, without who this stage setting would’nt have been possible.




During the starting grid of Joe Bar One, the characters of the comic strip settle down in the bottom of the grid. They will be excluded by the official captains in front of eyes amazed of 85000 present spectators in Le Mans for Grand Prix. Exceptional and surrealist atmosphere on the starting grid.

All the pilots, preparers and mechanics of this presentation Joe Bar one in the GP of France met themselves to attend the GP around a buffet in the best conditions.
